Jasmina Jerant returned to Slovenia a few years ago after a decade of living between Santa Cruz, California, and Budapest, Hungary, where she completed her MA in Political Science at the Central European University. Before going abroad, she was a journalist and editor, working among others for Ljubljana’s community radio station, Radio Študent, where she prepared and hosted a feminist radio show called Sektor Ž. Today, she is a copywriter in convention tourism and collaborates with the City of Women and the Urbana Vrana Institute, helping to prepare and organise guided educational tours and publications on women’s history. She writes short stories and sees both life and places as narratives. She works at the Centre for Social Innovation of the Faculty of Education and studies the universal basic income as a doctoral student at the Faculty of Social Work, University of Ljubljana.
